Yimei Chan

Yimei has more than twenty-five years of experience working in the US, Canada, Europe, and China. She is the Co-founder and Design Director of LOD, an experimental architectural laboratory and an open platform for collaborations.

Her design focus explores space, form, and function, emphasizing connections between architecture, technology, and community. Her research combines AI and big data with creativity to examine interactions between people, time, space, and activity.

Yimei exhibited at the Venice Biennale Architecture Exhibition in 2021 and 2025, was President of the AIA Hong Kong Chapter in 2023 and continues to collaborate with many design organisations on lecture tours throughout the world.
