Ron Bakker

Ron Bakker is a co-founder of PLP Architecture in London and leads PLP Labs, the studios in-house research and innovation arm. His experience spans projects across the UK, Europe, East and West Asia.Ron brings an optimism for the positive impact that architecture and innovation can have on life and the planet. His buildings have paved the way for more sustainable, healthy, and social development and he pushes the discussion forward on how we can design environmentally positive cities.He has recently completed major urban mixed-use projects in Kunming, Kuwait, London, and Amsterdam. Current work includes Tree House, a tall office and residential project in central Rotterdam; a large hospitality and commercial scheme in Baku, Azerbaijan; and a luxury hotel in the Surrey Hills.
