Reza Esmaeeli

Reza Esmaeeli is an architect and design leader based in Dubai, and Managing Director of Chetwood United Studio. He has over 20 years of international experience across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including leading projects and competitions at Zaha Hadid Architects.

He leads an international network of architects and designers, with bases in London, Dubai and Shenzhen. His experience spans architecture and interior design across mixed-use, cultural and hospitality projects, as well as the interior design of a series of metro stations in major Chinese cities.

His work explores how architecture and interiors create identity, memory and belonging. He focuses on the creation of emotional spaces and on the development of places and products within the Middle East and Central Asia that reflect the context and local identities of the region.
