Pēteris Ratas

Peteris has 3 decades of experience in architecture and masterplanning with many high-profile international architecture practices such as Aedas, CRTKL, Woods Bagot and others. He has worked globally in New York, Shanghai, and Riga.He had hands-on design experience with many high-profile projects across America, Asia, and Europe. His focus is urban regeneration, commercial mixed-use, public spaces, and transport-oriented development. Since 2023 he has returned to his native city of Riga to serve as a chief city architect.Peteris was educated in Latvia and the USA. He received his master’s degree from NJIT. He was a recipient of Saltups Fellowship and other awards. He is a member of both the American Institute of Architects and the Latvian Association of Architects.
