Paulo Calçada is Director of the Territorial Intelligence Center at Porto Business School and founder of Knowledge.Space, a Porto consultancy in strategic knowledge management and AI-driven organizational transformation.He also directs the Advanced Program on Smart Cities and Communities at Porto Business School. For a decade he led Porto Digital as CEO, designing the reference architecture for Portugals national strategy for territorial intelligence (ENTI).An international expert in open standards and digital sovereignty, he co-founded EuroCloud and served as Vice-President of OASC and Chair of its Council of Cities, shaping interoperable, vendor-neutral frameworks that help territories and institutions retain control over their data and AI.
