During his Masters thesis at Aalto University Pasi specialized on the strength properties of plywood and got worried about the indoor air quality problems constantly covered in Finnish media.After two years of hard work without any salary, he was able to pull out a functioning prototype of prefabricated wood construction module exploiting a physical phenomenon called vacuum drying as an onsite moisture control system - as the very first technology of its kind in the whole World.After launching VacuumWood.tech, the technology has been scaled-up into industrial scale and progressed to utilize IoT wellbeing surveillance. In addition, a strong vacuum insulation boost and a rapid structural cooldown via evaporative cooling feature has been demonstrated.
