H.E. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail

H.E. Majed bin Abdullah Alhogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, member of the Council of Economic and Development Affairs. Chairman of the board of Housing Program (Vision 2030 Program), Chairman of the board of Real Estate Development Fund, Chairman of the board of Real Estate General Authority, and Chairman of the Saudi Refinancing Company. His Excellency is also a board member in many governmental administrations, major corporations and national organizations.

His Excellency holds a Masters' degree in Business Administration from University of Illinois, USA (Urbana - Champaign school) in 1988. He also earned his Executive Certificate in Leadership Development from IMD Business School, Switzerland in 2007. As well as CPA license from New Mexico Public Accountancy Board in 1999 in the United States.

On July 13th, 2015, the honorable royal decree was issued appointing him as Minister of Housing. In February 2020, His Excellency was assigned as the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in addition to his role as Minister of Housing. On Feb, 24, 2021, another royal decree was issued to merge the two ministries and he was appointed as the Minister of Municipalities and Housing.
