Dr. Borja Ferrater is a Barcelona-based architect, founder and CEO of ELIA and partner at OAB. He holds a PhD on complex systems applied to architectural practice, blending rigorous design thinking with an international, large-scale vision.
As CEO of ELIA, he has delivered 35+ projects in Saudi Arabia for PIF giga-projects and private developers, with 10+ currently in development across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom: hospitality, residential, real estate advisory and interiors.
His practice spans Saudi Arabia, India, Georgia, Bulgaria, Egypt and France. He treats buildings as systems, geometry and logic over gratuitous form, advancing BIM, modular industrialisation and applied AI to keep design at the frontier.
