Dr. Abdulelah Almayouf

Dr. Abdulelah Almayouf is Chief of the Planning and Urban Design Sector at DASC. He has held senior roles including Deputy Mayor of Riyadh for Urban Development, Associate Professor at King Saud University, and Vice President of Naif Arab University.

He has extensive expertise in urban planning and development, combining academic research with practical and technical experience. He has contributed to housing, master planning, regulations, spatial development, policies, strategies, and sectoral initiatives.

Dr. Almayouf oversees planning projects across regions, governorates, and cities in Saudi Arabia. He holds a Bachelor’s in Urban Planning and Design from KSU, a Master’s in Planning Studies, and a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Newcastle University, UK.
