Basmah AlBasrawi

I am a Saudi journalist and reporter at Arab News, covering foreign affairs, business, sustainability, and culture. My work focuses on the developments, leaders and ideas shaping Saudi Arabia’s economic and social transformation.

I hold a BA in Criminal Justice with a minor in Philosophy from The George Washington University. My background spans journalism, legal research and consulting, giving me a multidisciplinary perspective that continues to shape my approach to reporting.

Through my work, I interview ministers, business leaders, policymakers and industry experts across sectors including diplomacy, AI, investment, tourism, and sustainability, with a particular interest in Saudi Arabia’s evolving role on the regional and global stage.
