Angelos Chronis

Angelos Chronis is an architect, researcher, and entrepreneur working at the intersection of AI, technology, and climate. He is CEO and Co-Founder of infrared.city, a Vienna-based AIT spin-off making climate simulations accessible through AI.

His 15-year career spans Foster + Partners, UCL Bartlett, IaaC Barcelona, and AIT Vienna. A Marie Curie Fellow with an MSc from UCL, he has built 5 R&D labs, taught at 20+ universities, and published 30+ papers in leading architecture and AI venues.

Through infrared.city, Angelos helps architects and planners run environmental assessments in seconds rather than days. His work bridges cutting-edge AI research and real-world climate action, supporting more sustainable and livable buildings and cities.
