Thomas Lücking
Lücking has built an international reputation leading the design and delivery of complex architectural and urban development projects, with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia.
After establishing Gerber Architekten's Riyadh office in 2009 and its international headquarters in Berlin in 2012, he has played a central role in expanding the practice's presence across the Middle East.
His portfolio includes landmark projects such as the King Fahad National Library, King Salman Science Oasis, the STC Olaya Metro Station and King Salman Park, set to become the world's largest urban park.
Throughout his career, Lücking has championed an integrated approach to architecture and landscape, combining innovative and sustainable design strategies to create enduring places of high ecological and social quality.
