Dr. Tarek Rakha, MIT-trained Regents’ Innovator, is a globally recognized scholar-entrepreneur advancing AI and sustainability in the built environment to shape climate-resilient cities worldwide.

As CEO & Co-Founder of Lamarr.AI, a Georgia Tech and MIT spinoff, Rakha leads the use of drones, AI, and thermal imaging to revolutionize building retrofits, tackling carbon emissions and energy waste at scale.

Rakha has authored 70+ peer-reviewed publications and secured $7M+ in funded research. He directs Georgia Tech’s High Performance Building Lab and was honoured with the IBPSA-USA Emerging Contributor Award.
