Stefano Boeri, architect and urban planner, is Full Professor at Politecnico di Milano and Director of the Future City Lab at Tongji University in Shanghai. Renowned architect of the Bosco Verticale, his work spans from urban visions to design.
A key figure in the global climate change debate, Boeri consistently focuses on the
geopolitical and environmental implications of urban phenomena and is renowned for his research on urban forestry and the integration of biodiversity in cities.
His design approach “Green Obsession” received the UN SDG Action Award for its
contribution to the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals. As President of Triennale Milano, he is Commissioner of the 24th International Exhibition "Inequalities".
