Sheela Maini Søgaard

Sheela manages the health and growth of BIG’s global offices with an international team of 800+ designers and staff. She has transformed BIG from Bjarke Ingels’ Danish architectural firm into an internationally acclaimed multi-disciplinary studio.

BIG has recently opened an office in Riyadh and is designing projects throughout the Kingdom and GCC - besides its established and growing portfolio of work around the world.

The Danish Association of Managers and Executives named Sheela as CEO of the Year in 2022 and in 2019, Fast Company included her on the Most Creative People in Business list.
