Ruth Duston OBE

Ruth has a track record of leveraging over £100m of private sector project funding in London, which has been the catalyst for generating more than £6bn of further investment.

Having piloted the first BIDs in the UK in the early 2000s, Ruth has established a succession of BIDs and partnerships including in Westminster, Whitehall, Harley Street and the City of London.

In 2004 Ruth set up Primera to deliver services to the public, private, community and voluntary sectors. In 2018 Ruth was honoured by Queen Elizabeth II by being made an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to business.
