Olga Aleksakova is an architect, founding partner of Cloudarchitects and Professor at the University of Hong Kong. She studied architecture at TU Delft and co-founded Buromoscow in 2004.
For over 20 years, her practice has focused on affordable and industrialized housing, urban regeneration and large-scale planning. Before Buromoscow, she worked at OMA in Rotterdam from 1996 to 2003.
She has taught at HKU, Columbia GSAPP, Amsterdam Academy of Architecture and MARCH. Her research and teaching address housing, typology, reuse, density, public space and new forms of living.
