Ms. Nahid Hussein has over two decades of experience in local and international development, governance and rule of law, peace and state building, and programme management, having served in senior positions at UNDP across Asia, Africa and Europe.
Recognized for her strategic leadership, she has been serving as the UNDP Resident Representative in Saudi Arabia since 2023, driving sustainable development initiatives with national partners across various sectors in the Kingdom, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 and the SDGs.
Ms. Hussein holds a Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy and a Bachelor's Degree in Law.
