Nahid Hussein

Ms. Hussein has over two decades of experience in local and international development,
governance and rule of law, peace and state building, and programme management, having served in senior positions at UNDP across Asia, Africa and Europe.

Recognised for her strategic leadership, she has been serving as the UNDP Saudi Arabia
Resident Representative since 2023, driving sustainable development initiatives across various sectors in the Kingdom in line with Vision 2030 and the SDGs.

Ms. Hussein holds a Master’s Degree in International Law and Diplomacy from Geneva,
Switzerland and a Law Degree from Khartoum, Sudan.
