Monika Bik

Monika is a Planning Advisor at the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Oman, with over 20 years of experience in strategic urban planning. She currently focuses on implementing the Greater Muscat Structure Plan, helping to shape the city's long-term growth and development.

As a Director at Broadway Malyan, a global design consultancy, she led multidisciplinary teams of architects, urban designers, and planners in the conception, design, and delivery of numerous large-scale international masterplans across diverse regions worldwide.

She led several consultation programs aimed at introducing public participation in the design process. Her core expertise lies in strategic frameworks which exposed her to the complex issues of design in a variety of cultural and environmental contexts.
