Massimo Roj
Massimo Roj, architect (Politecnico di Milano, 1986), founded Progetto CMR in 1994, one of Italy’s leading integrated design firms. He develops multidisciplinary projects combining architecture, engineering and design, focused on efficiency and sustainability. In 2025 he launched Progetto CMR Saudi.
He is President of Sportium, a company dedicated to sports architecture and stadium design. Recent works include the new Verona Stadium in collaboration with Gensler, Rimini Airport and the Cagliari Stadium, reinforcing his international expertise in large-scale sports and infrastructure projects.
He is Visiting Professor at Tianjin University and Beijing Jiaotong University, and lecturer at SPD Milan. Ambassador of Italian Design since 2016, co-founder of EAN and member of institutional bodies. Awards include the Compasso d’Oro 2024 and CTBUH Award 2022 for De Castillia 23.
