Leo Salomaa

I'm a trained architect with a background in large-scale infrastructure in Finland. I've worked on projects such as Kruunusillat, Keski-Pasila, the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport expansion, and the campus expansion and light rail system in Otaniemi.

In 2015, I turned to artificial intelligence, developing AI solutions for smart cities and the mining industry. I've worked with the City of Helsinki and with mining companies First Quantum Minerals, Anglo American and Boliden. During this time I have also won about 20 hackathons.

In 2023, I founded Make a BIM to solve specific problems I faced earlier in my carrier. Make a BIM automates building information modeling from drawings using AI.
