Khaled Zowayed

Khaled is a Partner and co-heads the Middle East real estate and hotels team. Khaled specializes in legal transactional and advisory matters, with a focus on the commercial real estate, real estate funds, and the hotel industry.

He also advises private sector, government, semi-government companies, sovereign wealth funds and master developers, sub-developers, and investment funds on large-scale mixed-use projects, including hotel, retail and residential developments, lettings and disposals.

Prior to re-joining Baker McKenzie, Khaled was the General Counsel of a GCC real estate sovereign fund. Before that, Khaled spent close to 10 years at Baker McKenzie.

He holds a Masters in Real Estate from the University of Cambridge and a bachelor of laws (LLB) from Newcastle University.
