H.E. Eng․ Ahmed Abdulaziz Al-Khayat

Eng. Ahmed A. Aziz Al Khayat is the current Chief Executive Officer of Urban Planning & Development Authority. With over 37 years of experience in engineering, planning, management, and implementation of engineering projects in the infrastructure.

He was the US, Works Affairs. he managed Roads, Sanitary Eng., Construction Proj. & Maint., and Technical Services Sectors. He was also Asst. US, Technical Affairs where he transforms the Ministry from a service provider into an income-generating.

He started his career as a Civil Engineer and then as a Hydrographic Surveyor where he was honoured to become the first qualified Bahraini to obtain a Post Graduate Diploma in Hydrographic Surveying.
