Dong Wang

Wang is helping redefine how cities adapt to climate change through nature-based infrastructure, ecological planning and internationally recognised Sponge City projects. Bridging research and practice, he delivers large-scale ecological urban developments that make cities more resilient, liveable and environmentally sustainable.

His work spans more than 100 projects across Asia, the Middle East and Europe, including Benjakitti Forest Park, the Beijing Ecological Security Pattern and the Guangzhou Sponge City programme.

His projects have received international recognition through ASLA, World Architecture Festival (WAF), UIA and AZ Awards. Beyond delivering award-winning projects, Wang is helping shape the future of ecological restoration in China through his work on national restoration standards and the Ministry of Natural Resources' Sci-Tech Talent Programme.
