Antonio Ng

Antonio Ng is co-founder and CEO of Formwork IO, a UK-founded materials company based in Hong Kong at HKSTP's GreenTech Hub. Formwork turns atmospheric CO2 into certified carbon-negative building materials. Its line: we don't offset carbon, we build with it.

A New York licensed architect with 25 years in the sector, 13 of them in Greater China. He designed at Renzo Piano Building Workshop, founded Arup Associates in Shanghai and Taipei, and ran AECOM's innovation portfolio before starting Formwork in 2020.

His buildings have won MIPIM's Best Sustainable Project and Taiwan's National Gold Award, and he worked on the world's first Double Platinum museum. Formwork has since made the world's first structural coffee brick with Nespresso, and is twice BUILD UK's Carbon Reduction Innovator.
