Abdulaziz Alhassan

Abdulaziz Alhassan is an urban design researcher and advisor. He specializes in human-centred urbanism, public space design, and urban policy development across academia, government, and practice.

He serves as a Chair of the Urban Planning Department at King Saud University and
Secretary General of the Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayyaf Award for City Humanization.

Alhassan is actively involved in national initiatives linking urban planning theories with real-world challenges, collaborating with government bodies, research centres, and international experts to advance liveable and equitable urban environments.
