Sport can strengthen communities and advance the SDGs, but that impact is not automatic. Much of it depends on how venues are designed: around the fan journey on event day, and around the neighbourhoods they serve for the rest of the year. Sports leaders, developers and athletes explore what it takes for venues to turn great events into lasting connections, and for sport and entertainment to become part of a city's everyday public health infrastructure.
