Ruth’s 30-year career includes the development of many successful place-based partnerships, driving urban growth and leveraging over £80m of private sector funding, which has been the catalyst for generating more than £6bn of further investment.

Ruth is Chair of the Management Committee for the Guards Museum and Wellington Barracks, Chair of The Passage Trading Services Board, member of The Goring Hotel School Management Committee, and a member of the NLA’s New London Sounding Board.

In 2018 Ruth was awarded an OBE for Services to Business and an OC, a Belgian honour, following her fundraising for the Flanders Field Memorial Garden which opened in 2014.
