Peter Murray trained as an architect. He was Editor of Building Design magazine, editor of the Royal Insitute of British Architects Journal, publisher of Blueprint Magazine and CEO of Wordsearch. He was curator of New Architecture: the work of Foster, Rogers, Stirling at the Royal Academy and Living Bridges, also at the Royal Academy. He founded the London Festival of Architecture in 2004. He co-founded NLA in 2005. Was Adjunct Professor at IE University in Madrid. Design advisor to London Mayors Johnson and Khan. Was awarded an OBE for leadership in the arts, architecture, city planning, design, publication and charity.
