As a Partner at the world-renown DPZ, and fluent in several languages, she's worked on the design and implementation of projects in the US, Canada, Australia, Europe and the Middle East, on ground-breaking new codes mandating resilient urbanism.
She speaks globally on issues related to Smart Growth and walkable communities. She co-led the successful Miami21 code, the US's first FBC and holds a strong record of getting codes adopted to create predictable frameworks for resilient places.
Marina is one of 20 members on the Expert Committee of Global Forum on Human Settlements (UNEP-GFHS) International Green Model City (IGMC) Initiative, under the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
