Holding a Master's degree in IT, specializing in Innovation for Smarter Cities in collaboration with UN University in eGov and Smart Cities, and over 20 years of experience, Jorge Saraiva has been a key figure in the Smart Cities industry.
As the President of the EU Network of City Policy Labs, and Vice president for Europe for the US-listed company DigitalTown, he spearheaded the Smart. London project, which inspired the documentary Smart London—Small London.
Leading dozens other urban projects from Parking to Energy Transition, Jorge also authored several influential publications, including the Smart Alliance (World Bank) recognition as the leading influencer in the book TOP Smart Cities Agenda in 2021.
