Hana Kassem is a Design Principal at global architecture firm KPF. Her human-centric approach to design embraces sustainability, wellness, and resilient design and has been recognised in multiple awards for projects around the world.

Hana’s work has examined how we affect our environment and how, in turn, our built environment impacts us. Projects include the design of science and research facilities, adaptive reuse and a major infrastructural resiliency and renewal plan.

Her international background has afforded her the ability to tailor her design work to various cultural contexts while maintaining universal commonalities. Hana is the co-editor of "Architect d.b.a. | On Re-defining the Roles of the Architect Today".
