George leads the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre, a Canadian impact investor and capacity-building organizations, efforts on sustainable economic development, developing strategies, research, and programs for businesses, workers, and governments.

Outside of ZEIC, George is a member of the global Expert Task Force on Nature-positive Cities, and has previously served as a ministerial advisor on climate change, as well in the leadership of the Canadian and American planning associations.

George's work spans strategy development, research, engagement, and capacity-building among many different groups, including businesses, workers, youth, and community members more generally.
