About

Elchin Mammadov currently works for the Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan as the Club Licensing Director, as well as the UEFA Director. Having 17 years of experience, he also worked at UEFA on EURO 2020 project between 2018 and 2021.

Specialised in the club licensing matters and venue operations. Elchin is the member of the UEFA Club Licensing Committee. He has a Master degree in Sport Management and he lectured at the International Football Business Institute in Brussels in 2017.

Since 2010, Elchin has served as UEFA Venue Director, being involved in organisation of numerous competitions, such as the UEFA Champions League. In 2022, Elchin was named Honorary Physical Education and Sports Worker of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
