Dr. Chris Payne

Dr. Christopher Payne is Chief Economist for Knight Frank MENA, based in Riyadh. His clients are private and public sector, with a focus on providing economic and demographic analysis and forecasts of the Kingdom’s changing economic landscape.

Chris has been Chief Economist at Peninsula Real Estate; chief economist advisor to the Governor and CEO of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Authority; Head of Research and Consultancy at the Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies.

Chris has also worked in the U.S. and the UK; at Bloomberg LP in Washington DC, and in London, at JPMorgan, F&C Asset Management and at PWC, where he qualified as a chartered accountant.
