Ahmed holds PhD in Economics and Finance from Brunel University of London. And has research interests and publications in public policy and Labour, behavioral economy and financial markets.
He works for the Human Resource and social Development Ministry since 2018. First, he assumed the role as a Labour Deputy Minister for labour Policies and 2020, he was the Chair of the G20 Employment Group.
Since 2020 he went to establish and lead the Deputy for Skill and Training where he lead national skill agenda including skill strategy, sector skill council and occupation standards.
