Eng. Ahmad Alsharif

Eng Alsharif is the Chief of Urban Planning & Municipal Affairs Officer in Diriyah Gate Development Authority since 2019. He also chairs the Energy Efficiency Committee within Diriyah, aligning initiatives with national Saudi Energy Efficiency Center.

Alsharif leads DGDA’s front acting as the regulatory, planning and permitting authority for the Supervisory Area, which encompasses Diriyah Gate Project and a wider area of 194 km².

He was the Director General at the ECA, overseeing three Giga-PPP economic cities

He worked with the core management team of KAFD leading the delivery of the master plan and complete portfolio of infrastructure and the award-winning KAFD Grand Mosque.
