Yusuke Hotta

Yusuke Hotta is the Chief Structural Engineer at Mitsubishi Jisho Design. A licensed architect and structural engineer in Japan and Oregon, he brings 20 years of experience managing various building typologies throughout the entire project cycle.

Yusuke Hotta’s work includes iconic skyscrapers in Japan, notably the Tokyo Torch, the tallest building in the country. His projects, including CLT Park Harumi, have earned accolades such as the Good Design Awards and the Japan Wood Design Award.

Beyond his design work, Yusuke Hotta is dedicated to promote timber-based innovations enhancing embodied carbon savings. He focuses on driving carbon reduction throughout building's life cycle, underscoring his commitment to sustainable architecture.
