Laurence Kembell-Cook

Laurence Kemball-Cook is an entrepreneur and inventor who founded Pavegen, a clean-tech company that has pioneered a flooring technology that generates electricity from the kinetic energy of footsteps.

Since inception, Pavegen have taken the technology to production and delivered commercial projects for some of the biggest global brands, such as: Google, Heathrow Airport, Mercedes, Ford Motor Company and London 2012 Olympics.

Laurence is a thought leader and speaker at various technology and entrepreneurship events worldwide; his TEDxBerlin talk was featured amongst TED’s top talks on envisioning the cities of the future and changing attitudes to fossil fuels.
