Shireen Hamdan

Shireen is a Senior Principal of Populous, a member of the firm’s Global Board of Directors and a RIBA Rising Star for achievements in architectural design and innovation.

Shireen oversees Populous’ Middle East operations, and her experience spans stadium, arena and convention centre design for projects across the EMEA region, as well as urban design, World Cup and Olympic Games overlay, and FIFA venue consultation.

Additionally, Shireen speaks at many global conferences on how the design of sports facilities, convention centres and masterplans can be used as a catalyst for rapid urban development and social integration.
